A relaxing spring time read with some really funny bits. It was very slow though and got quite repetitive towards the end.
I feel sorry for Kenneth Grahame's wife because he clearly regarded women with contempt. For the most part they weren't mentioned at all (none of the animals were female) and when they were mentioned it was rudely. There was also a racial slur typical of the time period but jarring nonetheless and some fatphobia to be aware of.
