good afternoon and welcome to my celaena fan club! 😮‍💨🫶🏼 today we will be discussing her HISTORY AS THE BEST ASSASSIN IN FANTASY BOOKS EVER thank you for joining us

wow, I was not prepared at how much I adored THE ASSASSIN’S BLADE 😭 I thought these mini stories were going to be adventures and missions with celaena and sam and I was going to have fun (until the ending of course)

BUT NO! every single one of the short stories had a purpose to shape celaena’s story in the future. not to mention I’m SURE characters like ansel, yrene and lysandra are going to make their grand appearance very shortly in the main TOG series

what I loved most about this book was the way it humanized the assassin’s guild, and the way that celaena and others grew to have a moral compass when it came to arobynn’s missions 🥹

and as usual, SJM knows the perfect way to tie everything together for the highest amount of emotional impact 🤘🏼 and boy WAS IT EMOTIONAL

I could read stories like this all day every day - please write more backstories I LOVE THIS SERIES IT HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD 😭😭😭
