I’ve said this before but it is worth repeating. S. Massery is my favorite author. 
This story starts of with the novella that you just have to read. Then this book takes up two years later. And anyone who has read the other books knows how Jacob has been feeling all that time. 
This book is both thrilling and mysterious. What happened in those two years and will Jacob finally have his girl? 
I loved every page of this book! And Massery always write the best spice. 
One think that I also love about her books is that she does make me anxious. She makes me intrigued, hot and bothered and all kinds of feelings but nothing that triggers my anxiety or depression. 
Be aware tough! This is a dark romance and check the triggers!
