Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
5.0
I was quite surprised at how much I liked this book. Makes me think I would probably enjoy Dessen's other novels if the characters' depth is anything like this one.
I would have told Julie to fu*k off quite a few times had I been Sydney, but I understand where she is coming from. And I was just as creeped out by Ames as she was.
Concerning the relationships and the details Dessen put into her characters life, I was hooked from the beginning. I was a bit scared at the beginning because on the first page there was a quote by Jodi Picoult, whose novels I cannot read cause they always trigger something in me. But I am definitely jumping on the Sarah Dessen bandwagon now!
