I genuinely can’t explain why I loved this book so much, but it kept me interested and invested with every chapter. The characters intrigued me, even if I didn’t actually like them all that much. I also liked the dash of existentialism in relation to the characters and their thoughts even when they became pretentious at times. This was my first Sally Rooney, and I went out on a limb trying it as I never thought her books would be my cup of tea, but I’m actually glad I read it, and I will definitely be reading her others.
