I was very nervous to start this book. I'm a huge Tessa Bailey fan, and to be honest, I was pretty disappointed with the last 3 or 4 books that she's released. I was nervous about this release but wanted to give it a fair shot. I was actually excited about the golf aspect (probably in the minority on that one) but I've golfed my whole life and I thought it was fun to get a different type of sports romance. Overall, I was crossing my fingers that I would enjoy this and just went in with zero expectations.

I'm so happy to say that I absolutely loved this book. It was everything I was hoping for and wanted it to be - that classic Tessa Bailey humor, great banter, sassy characters, and steamy spicy goodness. I loved how Wells was so completely obsessed with Josephine and just fell harder and harder throughout the story. Josephine was such a strong character - I love that she wasn't just a besotted fangirl and had her own hopes and dreams that she consistently fought for. I was pretty worried about how their dynamic would play out and the power imbalance that could exist, but I thought it was handled so well in the entire story.

Overall, I genuinely loved this so much - I had a smile on my face practically the whole time I was reading - giggling and kicking my feet in joy. Absolutely would recommend this one!
