Do Fish Sleep? by Belinda Cooper, Jens Rassmus, Jens Raschke

I loved this book.  I was initially drawn to the art style and the eye-catching title, which itself illustrates the unrelenting curiosity of children.  Originally performed as a one-girl play in Germany, this book is about a girl coming to terms with the  death of her younger brother.  She handles her grief in a way that feels most comforting to me - with humor and sadness and so much humanity.  It's not so much depressing as it is touching, and left me with a small smile after I turned the last page.
