Vasti might be my new favorite historical romance author. This book was stunning from beginning to end. A few highlights for me was seeing the growth of each main character, both separate and together, and the mix of adventures and romance was included in the story. I was not sure what to expect going into this story but I was happily surprised! The narrator really added to the story, bringing you in to the plot and character's feelings.
