Quiet Girl in a Noisy World: An Introvert's Story by Debbie Tung
5.0
This is such a precious book. I also recognize so many of the traits of the protagonist as an introvert myself. I've been told that its best described as "a highly functioning introvert" when you can do a job that requires some interaction but need the recharge time, the solitude and always carry a book with you! I loved so many of the real life examples here. I have carried a book with me since I was a child and will likely to continue that going forward. I see myself avoid making or taking phone calls unless I am very comfortable with who I am calling. Its funny because my husband is definitely the more extroverted one and he realized this difference and has tried to force me out of my comfort zone but it is so draining! Therefore, he makes most of the phone calls for the house.
This is such a comforting and beautiful book that I am certain to return to repeatedly over the years.
It is perfect for any introvert or those who love them.
