Kiss and Don't Tell by Meghan Quinn

3.0

I’m new to spicy books so take this with a grain of salt, but there were two issues I had with this book.

1. Winnie was far too insecure.

2. The sexual tension/slow burn was so much it felt unrealistic.

I really didn’t like how Lawes kept having to remind Winnie that she was beautiful every five seconds and how she just couldn’t even fathom that this man would be into her. That was kind of a turn off to be honest.

Secondly, some of the things that happen before they even kiss just seem unrealistic. I mean they’re things that if a guy does you know he’s into you, there’s no question at that point, so the slow burn just felt a bit unrealistic because of the build up not being very subtle.

Otherwise really liked the characters! Would love to see a spin off with Katherine, I think it’d be a challenge but I’d be super interested to read it!
