Blood Red Snow: The Memoirs of a German Soldier on the Eastern Front by Günter K. Koschorrek
3.0
One of the most depressing books I've ever read. I didn't get it all done. I read about 75%-80% of it, I just could not finish it. As expected, it was devastating all the way through. I've had enough of the gory details with not a single positive moment. Just death, blood, body parts, pain and hopelessness. I have to put it aside now for my own mental health. I feel terrible for everyone who had to go through the same awful things. What a horrible place our world can be!
