The Path to Loving Him by Meghan Quinn

4.0

If you’re ready for a delightful rollercoaster of romance, laughter, and a dash of baseball, then The Path to Loving Him should be your next listen!

Ryland and Gabby had a wild night together and thought that was it. Just days later, Gabby finds herself as Ryland’s assistant coach and (surprise!) tenant. Can they navigate the minefield of working and living together without giving in to the sizzling chemistry? Spoiler alert: it’s a bumpy ride! 😏

There are so many reasons why Ryland and Gabby are a bad idea, yet they can’t keep their hands off each other! Their hilarious attempts at being “just friends” are epic fail, and trust me, you’ll be laughing out loud! 😂 Plus, their shared passion for baseball and willingness to make sacrifices for family adds a heartwarming depth to their story. Both have baggage that makes their HEA journey a twisty one.

One of my favorite parts? Ryland’s relationship with his niece, Mac. This guy is determined to be the best father figure, and despite his worries, he absolutely nails it!

And let’s talk friendships! Ryland’s crew is a riot. Their unsolicited advice comes from a place of love, and the banter between Ryland, Able, and Hayes had me in stitches. And can we take a moment to appreciate no-filter Bower? Hilarious!

Now, onto the narration—Samantha Brentmoor brings Gabby’s fiery spirit to life, showcasing her determination to prove herself as a coach and support her brother. Sebastian York is the perfect voice for Ryland, capturing all his conflicting emotions and frustrations. York voiced all of the male characters and Brentmoor handled all of the female ones. I love when audiobooks have this setup.

So, if you’re in the mood for a spicy, humorous journey that leads to a heartwarming happily-ever-after, grab The Path to Loving Him! You won’t regret it!
