3 ⭐️ and I think I’m being generous. I really enjoyed Fourth Wing, but this just wasn’t it for me. I switched from reading the physical book to listening on Audible and YouTube at 1.5x just to get through it.
I will say it picked up at around Chapter 30-something, but I was so bored for most of the book.
Honestly disappointed with the character development and how annoying Violet and Xaden became. I cared more about the banter between Tarin and Andarna than the others.
When the next book comes out I’ll probably wait for reviews and spoilers to see if it’s worth picking up, damn the sprayed edges (which don’t even get me started on how lazy that turned out to be) I’ll buy the German or Fairyloot edition, there were better anyway.
