Stay is the second book in the Copperslane series and it's the story between Eliza and Saber. Eliza and Saber went to school together but never once spoke to each other, though they both felt a pull towards the other, even as children. Eliza lost her parents as a teen and has been struggling since. Saber has his own dark past, including a piece that's entangled in Eliza's causing a lot of resentment and hated on her end. When she's desperate for work and he swoops in to the save the day, they have no choice but to work through their complicated emotions for each other.

This was a really good read. I loved Saber and the duality of his strict composure and control and then his sweet, caring side that he displayed for his loved ones. The dialogue was a little awkward in some parts and Eliza was very frustrating at times with her self-centeredness and lack of forgiveness but overall, I recommend giving this a read.
