I liked this a lot less this second time around. I’m not sure what the reason is but the story barely touched me. Perhaps it’s because I’m further along my own gender journey and I’ve read more books about nonbinary people? Maybe it’s not made for rereads? Either way, it did very little for me this time which is unfortunate because it was an easy 5 star read the first time I read it.
