How Not to Age: The Scientific Approach to Getting Healthier as You Get Older by Michael Greger
5.0
'This book is not about immortality but rather how to age with grace and vitality rather than suffering from the ravages of infirmity and decreptitude.'
I've been interested in health and nutrition for most of my adult life. Dr. Greger is my favorite! (He's got a great sense of humor.) In this, he brings so much important information for extending your life and healthspan. For instance: switching from dark roast coffee to medium promotes cellular autophagy. I took away so many easy (and delicious!) tweaks from this book that I wish more people knew about.
'The leading risk factor for death in the United States is what we eat. It's the food.'
