In prison Roman becomes champion underground fighter until Ezra arrives and beats him. Ezra gives him an option submit to him and be protected or suffer at the hands of the other inmates. Roman is determined not to give in but he needs to protect Levi so he gives in but all is not what it seems there’s something else at play and Roman can’t see it however someone can but can they open Romans eyes to what’s happening.
My first book from MN Bennet and i quite enjoyed it i didn’t guess what was going on which i often do in books , however I didn’t find it as dark as everyone kept saying it was.
