Love this series, it really feels like a found family. Zeus gets his awakening in this story. He suddenly feels feelings he has never had before and they scare him: and yet Zeus isn't afraid of anything. Callie is a victim of control and manipulation and cannot see past the wrong he has done. Zeus understands him and they just click. A crazy encounter, trying to rescue Callie, starts something in motion that neither can stop. The banter between the team is fun and takes away the seriousness of their mission. This is a slow romance because Zeus doesn't recognise the intimacy as more, despite it being there from the start. Even the cuddling in bed felt really intimate and definitely more than casual. The epilogue gives us a happy ending and both men going in the same direction together.
