This was actually a very very good read even though it was going quite slow for me. I have read about it being very disturbing and honestly, I didn't find it that disturbing. It was just about how life was in Japan for the people and, well, life's life. It opened my eyes about this era in Japan and I loved every bit of it.

Either way, I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I chose this book as a required reading for an university thing.
