This book was beautifully written and insightful... but that is the problem. The idea that the narrato  was able to come up with such profound ways of thinking and insight and we were told to believe she has not formal or informal education or knowledge of the "real" world makes this novel unbelievable.  This novel shouldn't have been written in 1st person.
