Easily a top book of the year. I would say this novel is part magical realism and part literary fiction. It was so beautifully written. I cried multiple times reading it. The relationships aren’t just romantic, they’re familial and friendship based too, and it was gorgeous. I loved the writing and the structure. It’s sad but tender and comforting too. I cannot recommend highly enough.
