Ahhhh, the last book in a trilogy... As much as I hate series that I enjoy ending, I didn't mind this last book!

Yes. Allie is kind of an annoyingly melodramatic, emo kid. Yes, Zeke whining about what happened drives me crazy a little bit. But.

They are flawed characters. Just. Like. Real. People. Also just just real people, they grow and develop. Jackal was the biggest surprise in the book, I absolutely LOVE him. Each character just felt so real in a lot of ways. Allie makes me think back to how dramatic and whiney I could be at that age, and Zeke, well I honestly would probably also have a super hard time accepting what happened it me.

I feel satisfied with the ending of the story. I do wish that we knew if Allie and Jackal reconnect in the future. Julie, another Trilogy?! 😏

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5.

If you're looking for a Dystopian Trilogy, PLEASE don't pass these up. Even though it's Vampires... Don't judge until you've tried it.
