Well this was a doorstop of a book. I found the beginning of this book quite a drag. I understand the need for character and world building bit after a while I just wanted things to get moving.....with this being said, when they did get moving I was hooked.
Am I the only one that just really disliked Bryce to begin with? I just found her really irritating for quite a while. I didn't find myself falling in love and caring about the characters quite as much as I did in ACOTAR (except for Lehabah!!). I got there eventually but it wasn't instant.
Overall I did enjoy this book but you have to stick with it. I hope that the second book can just dive straight in now all the set up has been done.
