I appreciate this so much more as an adult. This was required during my senior year in high school, but I wasn't honestly in the mental space to read this. The way Khaled Hosseini write is an art form itself. It flowed really well. It was also a hard story to read. It's interesting to see how Afghanistan was before the Taliban came.
