why oh why did I wait so late in the holiday season to read this? this was by far my favorite christmas romance this year!!!! 

I’m all for a good ol girl power revenge story, because let’s face it - men are idiots and misogyny just HAS to be put in its place 🙄 but this was so much more than that!!

abigail starts dating damien after she breaks up with richard, who happens to be damien’s employee, for revenge purposes, but what blossoms is SO MUCH MORE I was swooning by the end 😍😍😍

which brings me to the perfect man in question: FRICKING DAMIEN OKAY 🥵😜 that man could read me his lawyer dissertation and I would find it the sexiest thing ever pls 

moving on … damien was the kindest most compassionate boyfriend to abigail, and he’s seriously ruined all men for me going forward. he actually listens to her and opens conversations with her, including one about not wanting kids!!! we stan not shaming women for this!!!

and my favorite part was there was no real third act breakup!!! conflict? sure. but no miscommunication and absolutely no “this is the end” walking away drama!!! 🥳 an ideal situation!

I loved the creativity and uniqueness of all of the characters in this one, and I can’t wait to re-read this one next christmas!!!
