As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson

3.0

I’m so torn with this one because it kept me at the edge of my seat like a good suspense book should but Pip’s decision making annoyed me.

Spoilers ahead…

She constantly said she didn’t want to involve others in what she did then proceeded to involve 7 people in covering up the murder. The murder also felt pointless since she got away from him and framing Max was just cruel. I understand that no one likes him and he didn’t pay for his previous crimes but still. I would give this one 3.5 stars. I was relieved when it all was over. There is no way she will be able to live a normal life after this and I hope she seeks real help for her PTSD and anxiety.
