An incredibly thought-provoking piece about what it means to be human as well as a chilling look at a near-future where AI is used so broadly that a human may need to imitate an AI in order to work. There are a lot of layered aspects to this story as we see a mega-corporation deliberately working to destroy competition whilst also crippling people with generational debt. I loved the sense of community in this tale. I was genuinely quite upset when Ai sold her heart and was so greatly changed by it. Fantastic!
