Totally was not expecting this to be a female driven narrative. I liked how “normal” the main character was and how you go to hear her inner thoughts constantly as part of the story but it did get a little over the top after a while which is why I didn’t give it 5stars. I would also say, the title is somewhat misleading. This book got me very unexpectedly but in the best way as it was full of  suspense and a storyline I never saw coming.
