The River Has Teeth by Erica Waters
5.0
Wow. Just wow.
The sheer strength and power from the main characters in this novel are so beautiful. I ADORE both Natasha and Della so so much. I saw a lot of myself in Della, which is somewhat unusual for me.
I got so angry at the main antagonist that I was actually fuming and I had a lot of anxiety when certain things happened. This very rarely happens anymore. I’ve read so much that it’s kind of hard for me to be completely wrapped up in a story, but The River Has Teeth did that so flawlessly.
I loved that it took place in Tennessee. (I live on the MS/TN state line and have always seen both as home.) Not enough stories take place here.
I will DEFINITELY be reading more by Erica Waters.
