This was an interesting, if long and a bit meandering, historical fiction about a forgotten queen (so many women in history are forgotten). Set in the late 900s - early 1000s, it is about a Polish princess who becomes a Swedish and then Danish queen and how she connects the histories of those countries. It ends somewhat abruptly as there will be a sequel. I don't think I will read the sequel.
