The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

3.0

This was a great addition to the Hunger Games series. Now I need to go back and re-read them! I enjoyed reading from Coriolanus Snow’s perspective as it helps give his character some depth and background. He’s a complicated character because it seems like he wants to do the right thing, but his actions prove over and over again that at the end of the day, he will do what’s best for him, no matter the cost to others. I would have preferred reading it vs. the audiobook because the narrator can’t quite portray the various songs throughout the story.
