For such a long book with so many characters it's very well written and I found it easy to follow. In fact, despite the different languages used and the strange terms throughout it's a good read, not complicated at all.
I liked how the characters kept going and doing their best despite the odds and the forces against them.
The world building is excellent, from the planet itself to the politics.
I'd recommend it to those looking for a fish out of water book who don't mind sci-fi and strange organizations.
