Dark Places by Gillian Flynn
5.0
I loved this book so much. Libby’s development as she learns more about the massacre and revisits old memories was written perfectly. It wasn’t messy and hard to understand either, which is my favorite part of it. I love how each chapter changed not only pov, but time period as well. We got to see the day leading up the killings from Patty (the mother) and from Ben’s perspective, which I loved.
This book had some wonderful suspense and mystery and definitely kept away from any romance. It did have mentioning of devil worship, drugs, molestation, and some curse words.
