BOURBON & SECRETS, the second book in The Bourbon Boys series by Victoria Wilder, delivers everything you could hope for and more. This installment follows single dad and master distiller Lincoln Foxx, and Faye Calloway, a private eye turned burlesque dancer. As secrets unravel, the rules stop mattering—and things get steamy.
This book is the perfect blend of romantic suspense, found family dynamics, and the beloved enemies-to-lovers trope, all topped off with hot hot hot open-door spice.
I thought I had it bad for Grant in Bourbon & Lies, but Lincoln? His filthy mouth officially earns him the title of the hottest Foxx brother. (And don’t even get me started on how I’m bracing for Ace’s story!) From the moment the cover dropped, I knew this was going to be a smokeshow. This might be the sexiest book cover I’ve ever seen. Hadley’s “big fat girl crush” on Faye is totally justifiable.
I genuinely can’t find a single flaw in this book. The storyline was gripping, the writing was fantastic (A League of Their Own references? Perfection!), the banter was on point, and the smut was Dirty Hot. What more could you want?
I’m dying to gush about my favorite moments, but I don’t want to spoil anything. Let’s just say Lark and Lily are adorable and totally stole the show. And that twist? WOW. Thank god there’s another book coming, because I am not ready to leave Fiasco yet.
