3.5⭐️- So I’d like to say that with the exception of a few scenes in this book, it would have been a cute middle grade story. I honestly forgot at times this was YA (not much different at times if you ask me), but there was some adult language and a suggestion of attempted SA of a minor during a memory moment. 
Only because it ended in a cliffhanger that I can’t say was satisfying enough to leave it at book one, I’ll continue the series to see where it goes. Easy read though and overall I think it’s okay.
