Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell

5.0

Some people are going to read this thinking, how can this book show me how to become rich/famous/awesome?

Some of those people will be disappointed to read: Work really, really hard.

There's more to it than that, of course--but that's one of the many things Bill Gates, The Beatles, and the world's greatest athletes have in common--10,000+ hours of practice, or approximately 10 years.

Love it. Going to go finish [b:How We Decide|3860977|How We Decide|Jonah Lehrer|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41eDLMBmKxL._SL75_.jpg|3906123], then do an annual re-read of [b:Zero|329336|Zero The Biography of a Dangerous Idea|Charles Seife|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1215342894s/329336.jpg|2372]. Good times.
