Forget Me Not by Alyson Derrick

Well that was absolutely heartbreaking. Also just completely terrifying?? I can’t think of anything worse than forgetting the past few years of your life as a closeted teen with only your conservative parents and “friends” there to tell you who (they think) you are.
It’s a beautiful story but it felt so quick for everything that had to happen and I think maybe just making it a bit longer could’ve made the timeline and development feel a little more real. Also, I won’t lie, the end felt a bit unrealistic, but I’m not going to argue with queer characters getting a happy ending.
It hit close to home with the conservative town and family and it hit hard.
