The Fire Island Ice Queen by B.J. Irons
5.0
(ARC Review)
A funny and nice story.
While there is a certain level of heartbreak at first, when Connor discovers his boyfriend cheating on him, blaming him and leaving him, and the next painful weeks after the breakup, once his best friend Byron convinces him to go to the Fire Island, everything begins to change.
Connor starts a journey of self-discovery, helped by Lawrence, a handsome stranger he met on the beach, who gives him a series of challenges, and little by little, Connor begins to loosen up and enjoy life. I quite liked the ending.
I received a copy of this book from Book Sirens, and this is my honest review.
