The book definitely has an uncommon mode of narration by replacing the names of the daughters and the husband with 'you'. I found this really interesting and felt that it was the author's way of telling how universal the nature of their relationship with the mother was. What a beautiful book! I said I would take a break from books about mother-daughter relationships and I did not. Someone please find me a plot-centric novel!
