Sticky, humid, strange. This book reads like a fever dream, tripping between scenes the same way you trip between frames in your sleep. One thing I would say is that you shouldn't go into this expecting a plot, and rather let the atmosphere wash over you. Also, kudos to the translator - what an excellent job!
