This was my 50th book finished in 2025.

Lovecraft did a great job at setting the scene and creating the atmosphere. I could see everything so vividly in my head. 

I love the archaeological setting for this story, and it got so creepy at the end. Did Lovecraft invent Doctor Who's Silurians?!
