The Last Housewife by Ashley Winstead

What an intense read. I can’t even convey my thoughts properly. I had to read this one slow because of its intensity and the triggers throughout. With that said, it was captivating. I was completely absorbed in the writing. The writing is superb and so eloquent. So completely immersed in the story which is a tad terrifying because i would never want to be within the pages of this story.

Such a painstaking and heart wrenching story of trauma, grief, abuse, masochism, and complete blurred lines to complete brain washing. This story is definitely intense but hard to put down too.

I loved the divided chapters of the podcast & the story telling of what lead to this point. And what made Shay, Shay.

The ending was nuts. I did see the twist coming tho— but i wasn’t at all bothered because i still had questions. Definitely an epic read.
