If Only In Our Dreams by Fae Quin

4.0

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

There's just something hearty, scrumptious and earnest about Fae Quin's storytelling that really works for me! This is my 3rd book of hers and i've been enchanted every single time! Whether it's contemporary or fantasy, there's just so much depth to her characters that it always makes me feel like i've been growing alongside them emotionally by the time their story ends. And that's a very enriching reading experience, to say the least.

I'm obvs not a gay dad, nor a rockstar, don't have twins or a medical degree, but i am human and for a time so were these characters to me. That's pretty marvelous when you think about it...because i do consume a lot of the genre, and though we are all unique as readers, that compliment on realness should count for something!

All of If Only In Our Dreams was lovely, i choked up soooo many times, felt all the feelings -except for anger and hostility- didn't mind how much the financial ease was easing, and it was effortless settling into its snow globe cozy sweet christmas and the way this small town celebrated and supported Robin and Ben's love journey!

My only uncool thought was that some of the dirty talk was a bit cringe, BUT that's definitely a ME thing! The loving was all kinds of sweet and spicy, and i loved that the fire was really built into the intimacy of their relationship, and that the healing Robin was undergoing was embraced and nourished by their patient romance.

I love Fae Quin's love stories, and i am so happy that i have found another author i can rely on to deliver a gorgeous, emotionally fulfilling romance that makes my heart feel warm and full and snuggly every time! Can't wait for whatever's next because i'm sure it'll be sexy and swoony and i'll for sure love it!
