Alice Munro is such a brilliant writer. This is my second book of hers and it blew me away. In this collection of short stories, Munro drops us into complicated moments in the lives of her gritty characters, and gently walks us through them. What impresses me the most about her writing here is how these aren't big life moments she chooses to present to us; but they sure are impactful moments to her characters. She's so good at what she does. The slam bang finish left me in tears. I loved it. Recommend.
