I love love loved this book. Somehow I've never read a Carley Fortune book before - blasphemy, I know, and this one delivered and then some. As many reviews for this book have said, Prince Edward's Island is the dreamiest, most idyllic setting, and I could see it so clearly. I loved the idea of creating a life you don't need to escape from, and Lucy's journey figuring out what she wanted was so joyful. This reminded me a bit of Funny Story in that Lucy had to figure out how to be okay on her own and not depend on only one person, and that really resonated with me (that is the highest of compliments from me btw). Felix is a hot protagonist, and Bridget and Lucy's friendship is so pure. This is really an emblem of the genre - run don't walk to read this!
