This is the second book that I read by this author. While She’s Up to No Good disappointed me with the modern-day storyline, Don’t Forget to Write sticks with a single storyline in the historical period. In general, I’ve been growing tired of the dual historical/modern-day storylines of historical novels, and was happy to stick with the one time period.
The characters are the strength of this book, especially the wonderful Ada.
The ending left me hoping for a sequel. But it’s also good to just imagine the possibilities.
