I've really liked this series ... I can't honestly say 5 star read ***** SO wonderful, but I really enjoyed it, and this wrapped up the series and kept my interest. I had to add how many pages this had (little pet peeve of mine when pages aren't listed here on GR) and was surprised to see it was almost 500. Didn't feel like it. Sped right by.

I happened to be browsing my library's new additions when I saw this ... and it was available. I was in the middle of another book but hey, I quit that one (I'll go back to it) and started this up. It had been a while since I'd read the first two and I was a bit worried about remembering everything that had happened. BUT YEA ... the author provided a quick rundown of all the characters and happenings! Thank you! If I'd been reading the books back to back, I would have skipped or skimmed, but personally? I was so grateful for the recap.

I went with audio again (as I did on the first two). Great narrator! Just perfect diction and pronunciation and clarity. Great voices, consistency! And I liked all the voices too (sometimes it can be a good narrator but the way a voice is styled might drive me crazy).

This series is a little unique ... certainly set up as Eve & Ezekial being the MCs, but it's really Lemon Fresh, at least I think so. Lemon Fresh is important ;) LOVE the tone of the book, and the world, and the words (fizzy, true cert, sprogs, etc).

A couple f-bombs in this final edition (swear jar!)
