The Gargoyle's Captive is the third book in the "A Deal With a Demon" series by Katee Robert. I liked this a little better than the second book, The Kraken's Sacrifice, but I didn't like this as much as the first book, The Dragon's Bride.
There's too much trauma and drama in this erotica for me.At one point the main female love interest, Grace, sets the Gargoyle on fire, and then she yells at him saying that he shouldn't pull such dangerous stunts. It was bizarre. Then there's the whole bit where we all find out that Grace's mother was the one that killed the Gargoyle's family that he's still mourning. Just too much drama and not enough sex.
The spice was okay, I'm giving this 3 chilies out out 5 chilies 🌶️🌶️🌶️ worth of spice.
Overall, this was okay. It wasn't great and it's not something I'd read again, but it was alright. I'm giving it three stars.
