I enjoyed this for the most part.

The gothic and dark atmosphere was done really well, I enjoyed the setting and the descriptions and felt quite immersed in the world. 

The characters were well rounded but I couldn’t find myself connecting to the romance or the story, it felt a little predictable to me, but that could be a me problem over a book problem. 

All in all I’d say if you enjoy YA gothic fantasy, you will probably enjoy this one.
