while i this is dear to me, the book being a queer ya romance, it did piss me off as well. i have to give it to the author, this went by so quickly, very engaging and easy to read (enough for me to binge it within two days)
it did bother me that out of all the ppl he could’ve fallen for he fell for a closeted mormon kid…and then proceeded to feel butt hurt whenever they had to be a secret from his parents…
i can’t tell if it’s bc i’m too old for ya now [im 20] but at that age i was very understanding of things and why certain things had to be the way they were. they got together in the end so everything was all fine and dandy, but i don’t rlly love the way it played out.
i do like how the mormon kid was able to move onto what he enjoyed and didn’t do it for the sake of his family. he also pissed me off with his actions, especially towards the mc, but it was understandable as to why he did it all.
